Terms of Service

By accessing or using ImageToolbox ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

ImageToolbox provides free AI-powered image editing tools, including but not limited to background removal, AI upscaling, image-to-GIF conversion, and over 60 browser-based image processing tools such as crop, resize, blur, filters, and color adjustments.

Many of our tools run entirely in your browser (client-side) and do not require uploading your images. AI-powered tools process images on our servers and return results to you.

ImageToolbox offers both guest access and registered accounts:

• Guest Access: You may use the Service without creating an account. Guest users are identified by IP address and receive 1 free full-resolution download per day, with unlimited low-resolution previews (512px max edge).
• Registered Accounts: Creating an account provides access to additional features such as API access and credit purchases.
• Credits: Full-resolution downloads beyond the free daily limit require credits. Credits are purchased in advance and are non-refundable once used. 1 credit = 1 full-resolution download.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload, process, or distribute illegal, obscene, or harmful content
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, usage quotas, or security measures
• Use automated systems to scrape or excessively access the Service beyond the provided API
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to it
• Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable laws or regulations

Your Content: You retain all ownership rights to images you upload and process through ImageToolbox. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

Our Service: The ImageToolbox platform, including its design, code, tools, and branding, is owned by ImageToolbox and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

If you use the ImageToolbox API, the following additional terms apply:

• API access requires authentication via API key or session token
• API usage is subject to the same rate limits and quota restrictions as web usage
• You must not share or expose your API keys publicly
• We reserve the right to revoke API access for abuse or violation of these terms

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that image processing results will meet your specific requirements, that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that results will be accurate or reliable.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ImageToolbox shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Any unused credits may be forfeited upon termination for cause.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
